The Antique Heartbeat

Bob Bucko, Jr., often referred to as "BBJr" for short, has been incredibly prolific for over a decade and a half, although he has been initially active since the late '90s, through various applications and styles which generally fall under the very wide chasm that is "experimental music".

His work ranges between improv, ambient, and noise, but also often has the flair of a multi-instrumentalist "virtuoso", which sometimes includes songwriting, albeit through the lens of home-recordings.

In addition to running the wildly active Personal Archives label, he's collaborated with a wide array of figures, and is a regular contributor to projects such as Sex Funeral, New Standards Men, and SLW (sometimes SLW cc Watt, an ongoing affair with Mike Watt). On "The Antique Heartbeat", Bucko, Jr. has worked over and thoroughly fleshed out arrangements based on the integration of a vintage canine heart monitor.
