"Dreamfish" is interactive poem written in Java. It is a fishtank of random wordfish created from the lexicons of Moby Dick and Finnegan's Wake. The wordfish swim, merge, break apart with falling letter debris creating a sedimentary layer. Over the course of 1,001 seconds, the underwater background changes from tropical light blue to deep ocean black, with a final large "Whale" composed of exactly 101 letters from parts of Joyce's Thunderwords, crossing the screen before the cycle begins all over again. The visuals are accompanied by a wav file.
