Lady from Outside

Glamourie is an old word for ‘enchantment’ but also the project by French multi-instrumentalist Merle Bardenoir who actualises this meaning by creating otherworldly music for futuristic Middle Ages.

Influenced by minimalist music, psychedelic folk and experimental electronica, Glamourie only uses acoustic instruments - such as the hammered dulcimer, tin whistle or shamanic drum - processed live by looper and effects pedals.

Released in April 2024, Lady from the Outside, second album in the discography, was self-produced.
