Leafblighter's introduction to the world of making music came via saxophone & piano lessons as a child. Being a keen radio listener & follower of the growing hip-hop scene was followed by discovering electronic music. The Extra Beats program on WOXY 97X FM in Oxford, Ohio exposed the growing world of electronic music. Working at the independent record store Looney T Birds in the same town allowed this love of electronic music to flourish. 2004 saw the start of his own productions with a PC based DAW. Several hardware synths have been added to the studio over the years.
