Data Dada

The difference between dada

And data is so much more

Than a T or D.

The Dadaist

Will not succumb

To sum and logic.

The Dataist

Counts on progression to mean

Whatever regression is to the mean,

Preferring the absolute

To inferring the stochastic.

What began as nonsense

With no sense of rhythm

Has become so dense,

Has become so tense,

A prisoner to algorithm.

Is it absurd to think

That the world is absurd?

Or are our days so numbered

That every thing is rendered

An oozing a stream of data?

What difference is there

Between bats and butts

Dadadadadadadadada

and

Bytes and bits
