“The King and I” PDF
Kusu (@flyingkusu) is a writer, artist, and human being from Singapore. He writes prose, poetry and plays, and has experience acting in and directing theatrical performances. His work has been featured in the Raffles Institution literary anthology, The Paper Plane Press, Words With Weight, the SMU Vitality exhibition, Poems on the MRT, and more. He is the founder of the publisher and bookseller Sekudu, and an editor of the Sekudu Quarterly magazine. Kusu creates in hopes that a corpus of genuinely representative Singaporean work will emerge, and, perhaps paradoxically, that the local literary scene can transcend sociorealistic political commentary—to produce true classics and art with universal resonance.
